1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using DisputeShield ("Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you are prohibited from accessing or using the Service.
2. Description of Service
DisputeShield provides e-commerce merchants with tools to organize dispute evidence, assess dispute case strength, and generate defense copy packages.
CRITICAL DISCLAIMER: DisputeShield is an independent software tool. We are not affiliated with PayPal, Inc., Shopify, or any other financial processor. DisputeShield does not guarantee that you will win any dispute, chargeback, or claim. The software provides evidence checklists and suggestion drafts based on available data, but the final outcome is solely determined by the payment processor's resolution team.
3. User Accounts & Responsibilities
To use the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and maintain the security of your account credentials. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree not to upload fraudulent documents, forged invoices, or false evidence. Uploading manipulated or deceptive evidence is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.
4. Subscription Plan Requests & Usage Limits
We offer free trial limits (3 cases) and premium monthly subscription tiers (Starter, Pro, Agency).
During our early access phase, users can request subscription activations through our dashboard. These activation requests are reviewed by our team and approved based on queue volume. We reserve the right to decline or suspend subscription requests.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
We do not warrant that the AI analysis, checklists, or suggestions will be accurate, complete, error-free, or compliant with the rules of any payment processor. You use the generated packages at your own discretion and risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall DisputeShield, its directors, employees, or partners, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:
- Loss of profits, revenue, or business chargebacks;
- Losses resulting from payment processor dispute rulings;
- Account suspension or holds placed by PayPal, Shopify, or other networks;
- Technical failures, data loss, or server downtime.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country where our corporate headquarters is located, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of major changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service constitutes your agreement to the new Terms.
